I am the mom of the house . Mom of all my four legged furry friends. I am single, as I have not found a man who wants to share his bed with 14 little dogs yet. Imagine that! lol .Last time I counted i was 45 years old.
I am a loner, okay I am an odd duck. I live on 30 acres on the outskirts of Drumheller Alberta. This is where my dogs can be dogs.

I have a mini farm, including a few chickens. The ones that Maverick and Mathias, my two sheperds, were kind enough to not included in their raw food diet . Bad boys !!!!
I have 9 ducks,3 geese and 3 llamas. I used to have a couple of cows [will never try that again] and some turkeys [don't ask .sorry big Tom ].Okay lets face it, I would never make it as a farmer .
I was born and raised in Europe. Grew up surrounded by dogs since my mother was a die hard dog lover. She was in charge of a dog rescue . Even back then dogs were my friends, my confidants, the ones I would snuggle with.
I was never a social butterfly, I guess even back then I was an odd duck. I was quite happy siting by myself writting poetry. Even happier skipping school, taking some of our dogs, and spending the day hiking and playing with them .
I do not watch t.v. [told you I was an odd duck ]. I rarely go out. I love reading . I love antler carving and one day i am hoping to have time to do that again. I love my simple life.
I do not like conflicts , I abhor violence,never will understant why some people like to hurt others ,ruin or take their life .
I do not read the newspaper, I do not want to know how people got hurt or killed today. I guess you could say that people scare and confuse me. I do not understand them.
Because of the way I feel, I guess, I have created my own little world. My safe haven. A world I can live in, a world where I can freely experience happiness and peace of mind.
